Okay, see if you can keep up.
Don't you just love trying to explain something to someone and they totally just ignore what you're saying. I know I'm explaining in easy terms. I'm not using big words. I could, but I don't. It makes me want to growl. They just ignore and go their merry way thinking they've just invented the post-it note. Try to explain to them that, no, they didn't just invent the post-it note, someone else has already done that, and no matter what you call it, you're still trying to claim you've invented the post-it note. Fine. Whatever. Insert eye roll.

The replies to Moron Marine's e-mail copied to all have started to come in. New Orleans Marine sent the first one basically saying he had no problem taking the order to Cherry Point, that he, in fact, wants to go to OIF before he retires. He more or less called a couple of people on the carpet, supporting Husband with his remarks. He's the most senior of their rank. Another responded saying someone needs to come down on "Dusty" Marine and get his ass away from where he is since he's homesteading. Beaufort Marine wants to go to Headquarters but Personnel Marine sent in her reponse more or less saying there's no funding for that position so Beaufort Marine will probably end up in New Orleans instead. Husband pretty much figures if that happens he'll put in for retirement after he gets there since New Orleans is one of those places where you put in a lot of long hours and away from your family time. No reply at all from I-don't-have-the-balls-to-be-a-Marine Marine.

Husband is going to send out an e-mail to everyone, probably Tuesday, stating that he intends to keep the orders to Japan since we've planned our life around that happening since he was originally screwed out of the orders to stay here by I-don't-have-the-balls-to-be-a-Marine Marine and since he's senior to I-don't-have-the-balls-to-be-a-Marine Marine he hopes everyone will just deal with it.

Are you confused?

I'm stitching away today on January Snows. It's a fun stitch and I'm enjoying it while watching Season 7 of Buffy.

Oh and it's after noon and they STILL haven't turned off our water.
