An overheard conversation
Wife: How come you get to be a kept man when I never got to be a kept woman?
Husband: Because you spend too much money on cross stitch
Wife: Oh, I could easily stop that if that's all it takes to be a kept woman!
Husband (eyes roll to the back of his head): No you couldn't!
Wife (hesitatingly). No. I couldn't!
Lots of laughter.
