Update!
The good news is they really think his eyes will get better each day. He has another appointment in 2 weeks. Normally they would see him again in a month.
The bad new is they don't think they got all the astigmatism and that's what's causing his vision problems. They messed around with the vision test equipment and with the astigmatism 'corrected' he has 20/15 vision. Without it he has 20/40 still! He had 20/30 vision before the surgery.
They did talk about going back and correcting the rest of the astigmatism but they won't do that until it's been 6 months, since they want to be positive they need to. Again, they think his eyes will improve, just slower than what is making Husband happy.
He did voice his displeasure, that he cannot see to even watch TV comfortably, and he's gone to bed again tonight at 8:30 :( His comment was there was no use in sitting around staring at the wall :(
The problem with the 6 month issue is he'll be in Japan by then. So now we're going to have to figure out what to do about that. He has not told the surgeon he's going to Japan.
I confessed to him tonight that I called them yesterday about MY concerns, but he didn't say anything one way or the other about it.
