Today is "labor day" at my house...

with promises of laundry, dishes and homework.

It was so hot yesterday (101 for Oceanside) that I couldn't concentrate on homework and didn't feel like messing with the laundry. So I spent the better part of my day working on creating shopping lists for The Silver Lining designs. I started a The Silver Lining BB with Annette this past week. I've never admined a BB before and there's a lot to learn, but there's fun in it too. I love those flowers! and seascapes! and like being able to share progress with other stitchers. Anyway, back to the shopping lists. I learned how to make clickable boxes so you can check off the floss you have, print it out and take it shopping with you. I even worked on putting pictures of the designs at the top.

As to the dishes. Man did we cook yesterday! We grilled 3 different kinds of meat, I made a HUGE bowl of potato salad, cinnamon rolls and we made homemade ice cream Saturday night. Unless Son comes home with half of SD County, we probably have enough food to last the week! But, my sink runneth over, even after loading the dishwasher twice!
