Screech, screeeech, screeeeeeeeeeeeech!
Believe it or not there is something worse than being woke from a deep sleep by a smoke detector - a faulty carbon monoxide detector. I will now wonder for the next however many nights if I’ll die in my sleep because I ripped that sucker out of my ceiling at 6:00 a.m. this morning and turned off the breaker switch. Living in government quarters sucks.
