I had a great weekend and am so disappointed it's Monday morning.

Saturday I participated in a small GTG with 3 stitchers. We hit Stitcher's Treasures where Vickey was great as usual and spent small amounts of money. Next we headed over to Acapulco where we had delicious food with poor service. Then on to Jill's house where we did show and tell. I love show and tell. I finally saw some Chatelaine designs in progress. So far I'm safe. While they were beautiful none of them screamed "stitch me." I got back here around 5:30 and Husband and I decided to have ice cream instead of real food for dinner. He had taken his new car out for a drive up to Julian. I cannot believe he didn't stop for pie, but he did stop at a mom and pop joint for some good Mexican food. Neither of us were very hungry.

Yesterday I pulled everything out that I need to stitch on this week. I also worked in my yard and house getting a bunch of plants repotted. I love a lovely yard, but I hate weeding and if I can get away with it I'll put everything in a pot. I even pruned back my Peace rose as it already had little tiny red bumps showing it's getting ready to start producing again. The hummers and birds will be happy as all the feeders and the birdbath are now clean and full.

So I'm off to watch an episode of Angel and stitch on my RR.
