Christmas. Nice, quiet, uneventful Christmas. It's raining. The wind has been howling all afternoon. A perfect day to stay indoors with family.

We opened gifts last night. Another old family tradition broken. Things are strange now that we're all adults. We could have treated today as any other day, but we didn't and for that I'm grateful.

The gifts I gave husband and son have been enjoyed. Among other things Son received a PS2 and 2 games and I gave the NASCAR game to Husband. It was fun listening to him try to figure out how to play it while I cooked our Christmas dinner.

I received a CD I have been wanting from son and 2 gift cards from Husband, one from Bath & Body Works and one from the base PX. I also received a card from Husband that made me cry, it was so beautiful.

I also received chocolates from a designer I stitch for and I participated in a book exchange on the TWBB Readers board and received a book, beautiful celtic bookmark and some scruptious Cadburys chocolate.

Tomorrow I'm going shopping. I can't remember the last time I went shopping the day after Christmas.

No stitching, but today I'm not down about it!

About that Buffy thing I wrote about....I joined Netflix and sent off for the 1st movie and all the TV series episodes. The movie was okay, but I've enjoyed the 3 episodes I've watched. I still can't believe I'm a Buffy fan.
