Oops. I promised myself I was going to do this often and I've skipped 4 days.
Since I last posted I completed my rotation on Peace and completed the stitching portion of Acorn Learning Samper. I decided to stop after the stitching was done so all I had to concentrate on next go round was the finishing up. It's a new thing for me and I don't want to have to stop partway through. Next up, Teresa Wentzler's Castle Sampler. I plan on finishing the outer borders so I can jump around more on the design. I reall love the blues in the outer border.
Nonstitching stuff. I STILL haven't made it into my Excel class. The Jonathon fiasco has put a cramp in my getting things done for myself style. Today tho, I should be able to do the orientation at the library. Fortunately the lab people have been understanding about what's keeping me from getting started. I also picked up a job announcement for an administrative secretary at the campus. The deadline is Friday and if I can get my behind in gear I may be able to make it.
And I skipped my UBWO today. My hand is bothering me and kept me waking up about every 45 minutes last night :(
Jonathon stuff. The car is totaled...my child is not. Thank you God. The insurance adjuster is offering us a lot more than we were expecting. He said that the car was clean and in excellent condition not to mention how low the mileage was (thank you Marine Corps). We were hoping for $3000 but are getting much more than that. Now we should be able to find a really decent used vehicle for the guys to share. Thank you again, God, for the safety of my child.
